Amm received her Honours Fine Arts Degree from York University, Toronto, Ontario, Canada. She also studied painting and drawing for six years under Bruce Garner, Henry Masson, and other Canadian art masters. She is a painter of abstract and/or realistic contemporary works, created in a personal style, expressing humanitarian and artistic concerns. Amm has been painting and exhibiting art in Canada for a number of years and in Wisconsin for the last nine years. Her works are included in various private and corporate collections: Public Utilities Building, Scarborough, Ontario; North York Hydro, North York, Ontario; plus others in Canada, the United States, England, and Poland.
Her teaching of art to children and adults with and without developmental disabilities includes state and regional artist workshops and very special Wisconsin art festivals which have attracted project grants. She also gives art classes in her studio at 1713 South Oneida Street. Amm's artwork is currently available through art rental and sales at the Art Gallery of Hamilton, Ontario, Canada, the Avenue Art Gallery, Appleton, Wisconsin, and at her studio. Her professional career spans solo, group, and traveling exhibitions in the USA and Canada on a regional, national, and international scale.
