She is a mixed media artist, working in photo montage, sound, drawing, installation, text, and performance. Baharier is also Jewish, disabled, and dyslexic. She loves a challenge and says, "Have work will trade".

She is the arts coordinator of Cooltan Arts, based in Brixton, which is now becoming a registered charity.

Work by Baharier has been shown world wide, and in April / May '96 will be at Yeffes 28 Gallery Jaffo, Israel. The work to be exhibited, "Lennons on Sale Again" is a collaboration with an Israeli artist.
