Bernstein has a varied and extensive background of college teaching and exhibits nationally and internationally.

With a BFA from the University of the Arts and a MFA from Indiana University in Printmaking, she has a strong commitment to drawing and expresses herself in a variety of media on paper.

The most recent work deals with the sky in the landscape and it's spiritual qualities with a meditative stillness as well as it's ability to reflect force and action in nature.
