The World's Women On-Line!

Bertsch is a member of the Association des Contemporains in Paris, France. Her abstract paintings contain an internal universe of forms and symbols derived from nature, and mysterious intuitions by which we are all joined in the immense flux of existence. The intrigue of old glazing penetrated by color retains on the surface a wide brushstroke, sometimes charged with strange elements.

Her selected solo exhibitions include: Maison Mansart, Paris, 1995; Espace Culturel Louis Delluc-Sarlat, Dordogne, 1994; Galerie de l'Ours, Bourges, 1989 and '93; Anciennes Halles d'Auteuil, contemporary art, Paris, 1992; Espace Culturel Paul Ricard, Rond Point des Champs-Elysées, Paris, 1991; Galerie Muscad, Paris-Bastille, 1986, '88 and '91; Open Space, Montparnasse, Paris, 1991; Interior Ever, Avenue Victor-Hugo, Paris, 1991; Infomart, CNIT, Le Défense, Paris, 1990; Tour Total, La Défense, Paris, 1987; Espace Pornichet, Bretagne, 1987; Galerie du Prieuré, Oréans, 1985; Rue de l'exposition, Paris, 1980; and Galerie Entremonde, Paris, 1979 and '80.
