Sylvia Blanco Country: Puerto Rico

Blanco works mostly with sculpture clay, for it is a natural, moldable material which best suits her expression.

She prefers to hold one person shows every two to three years, and also participates in international juried competitions for the thrill of having her work judged.

Blanco finds teaching at the Escuela de Arts Plasticas in San Juan both challenging and rewarding.
