Kathia Casellas-Clerte Country: France
		Title:  Ancetre Medium: Acrylic on canvas and collage Size: 100 x 81 cm

Through her art, Casellas-Clerte searches for a relation to her ancestors, both marvellous and monstrous.

She uses mixed media techniques incorporating the following: collage, powder, paper, and acrylic paint on canvas.

Other than having partaken in the organization of an exhibition for Women Artists, Les Contemporaines, Casellas-Clerte has participated in the following exhibitions: Galerie Varga Darlet, Bordeaux; and Salon de Printemps - Clichy, in France; and Galerie Sextius, Brussels.
