Clore is an artist who never tires of painting in oil and pastel. She is a figure painter, willing to take risks; she is on a journey, searching. Her works are exhibited and collected throughout the country, and she is represented by the Susan Conway Gallery, Georgetown, Washington, DC.

She is a teacher of younger and/or less experienced artists, having taught in both public and private schools. Currently an education consultant for High School Programs at The National Museum of Women in the Arts, Washington, DC and an art teacher at Forestville High School, Clore also teaches private art lessons in her studio in Laurel, Maryland.

In addition to her career as an artist and educator, Clore is a scholar, author, curator, and gardener. Three of her essays were published by Midmarch Press, New York, 1993, entitled, Gumbo Ya Ya: An Anthology of Contemporary African-American Women Artists.
