Cooper has a BA in Fine Art (Sculpture). She is currently a part time student at Bath College of Higher Education where she is studying for a MPHIL/PhD by research in Fine Art/Critical Studies. Her full time occupation is Gallery Manager and Curator of the Hotbath Gallery, which is established within the School of Arts, City of Bath College of Further Education. Cooper exhibits regularly and curates independent exhibitions throughout the South of England. She is also a visiting lecturer specializing in psychoanalytic theory in the visual arts.

She describes her artwork as "the computer manipulation of colour images derived originally through traditional photographic processes, which are then either printed or projected directly from the computer." She continues, "By assimilating traditional boundaries between the inside and the outside of the body, the real and unreal with the humorous, sexy, and vulnerable, produce artwork, both moving and still, that resonates with the seductive yet alienating encounter of the body as/vs technology."
