Deschamps received her BA in Arts from the University of Ottawa, Canada and her MA in Arts Studies from the University of Quebec at Montreal, Canada. She also holds a diploma in 3D Computer Animation from Sheridan College. Deschamps has taught theory and studio courses in the Visual Arts and Graphic Arts at the University of Quebec at Hull and Photography at the Ottawa School of Art.
