Cecilia Sanchez Duarte works in printmaking at the Taller Experimental de Estampa Jose Guadalupe Posada at Escuela Nacional de Artes Plasticas, Universidad Nacional Autonoma de Mexico and at the Mission Grafica at Centro Cultual de la Mision, San Francisco, California.

Since 1988, she has participated in over 27 national group exhibitions and 30 abroad. Duarte has had seven solo exhibitions.

Duarte works with cultural centers and groups of artists in Mexico and the United States, lecturing and organizing art events. She is Speaker of AIAP of the UNESCO in Mexico and is a member of Salon de la Plastica Mexicana.
