Farish states, "Never far beneath the surface, the human figure lies sleeping, questioning while antiquity, as much breathed as etched into these works, records a new permanence, a new past which may have eluded us until now."
With a strong background in printmaking, Catherine Farish combines drawing, painting, and collage with etching on copper and cardboard to produce unique works on paper.
Farish is represented by several galleries in Canada and the United States and was the recipient of the First Prize for etching in Quebec in 1992.
