These works, entitled Security Box Series, are meant to be opened by the gallery viewers.

Each box examines a belief or idea that Frances and/or her American society hold as "security", regardless of how harmful it may be to themselves or others.

Mary Frances has exhibited this body of work as well as her oil pastels throughout the Northwestern United States and teaches intensive workshops at Bellevue Community College in Bellevue, Washington.
