"Survol, Surplace" is a sculpture installation constructed of steel riveted to a wood skeleton with a rubber molded figure on a pendulum which is activated by a motor.
Fraser's work explores our cultural condition and its contrast with nature. The collage of symbols such as animal, armor, and fence refers specifically to the way culture subjugates and thereby domesticates nature.
