A mixed media artist for 40 years, Florida artist Cecil Herring exhibited her computer art in The World's Women On-Line! at the United Nations Fourth World Conference on Women in Beijing, China, 1995; and at the Orlando Museum's show, Art and Technology, Orlando, Florida, 1995.

Herring's experimental works are included in public collections at the University of Florida, Titusville; Florida City Hall; and the Gerald R. Ford Museum, Dearborn, Michigan. She has had 17 solo exhibitions.
