Rose Johnson received her BA Honors Degree from Leicester Polytechnic, England. Now residing in the U.S., painter, muralist, sculptor, graphic artist, performance artist, and installationist, Johnson has received grants from the City of Tempe/Tempe Municipal Arts Commission, Tempe, Arizona, and the Arizona Commission on the Arts.
Her murals and public art projects include: Scottsdale Culinary Festival and Superbowl Art Walk, street painting, 1996; Newman Center, Tempe, 83' x 13' mural, 1995; Sojourner Center, Phoenix, community mural, 1995; and Maricopa County Fair, Phoenix, street painting, 1994. She has performed or had installations at: The Icehouse, Pillar Room, Phoenix, 1995; E-Teresa, Mexico City, 1994; The Icehouse Cathedral Room, Phoenix, 1994; and the Institute for Studies in the Arts, Tempe.
