Jurikowa entered Minsk Artistic School in 1974. While a student, she took part in several exhibitions. Her first exhibition was of graphic portraits from her series, My Contemporary.

After finishing her studies, Jurikowa worked as a cinema designer. Later she taught children painting and Art History, and organized a private art firm of which she was the manager. She participated in group exhibitions in Minsk, Moscow, and St. Petersburgh. Before entering the Council of Artists of the USSR in 1976, she had a successful solo exhibition shown in Minsk, Lida, and Grodno. This exhibition contained philosophical meditations, compositions about the surrounding world, portraits, still-life, and landscapes.

Since 1990 Jurikowa has been working in Poland. She had exhibitions in Warsaw, 1992; Kraków, 1993; and the Tatra Museum, Zakopane, 1996.
