Kaida is a photographer who has produced portrait, still-life, and landscape photographs. She is also a wtiter and producer of artists' books including: Tremors From the Fault Line, and The Other Side of the House with Rita Dove. Most recently, Kaida has worked on multimedia installation projects, often in collaboration with other artists or writers.

She has exhibited extensively both nationally and internationally, and her work is in the collections of the George Eastman House International Museum, MOMA, and the Center for Creative Photography.
