Kluge teaches sculpture and drawing at the University of Alabama at Birmingham and is represented by Connell Gallery in Atlanta, Georgia.

Her artwork consists of small scale, mixed media sculptures that are autobiographical and abstracted from actual experiences reflecting emotions, relationships, places, and changes.

She has received many grants and awards and has exhibited her work throughout the United States. Kluge traveled to and exhibited in Ireland during the spring of 1996.
