Komori was born in Kyoto, Japan. She designed a space with a formation of panels to speak her thoughts in traditional dyeing methods. She intends to pursue her communication about the source of energy and life in her body through observing the air of the cosmos.

Komori is a member of Shinseisaku Kyoukai. Her work has been exhibited extensively in Japan and has won Artist Awards from the Tokyo Museum.
