Laurin's paintings are hyper-realist. She likes to represent everyday objects in a special perspective, enlarging details.

She has shown her work in many solo and group exhibitions in Quebec, including Les Femmeuses, 1994, '95, and '96 and Pluralite, 1996, and '97. Her works are part of major private and public collections.

A member of the Conseil de la Peinture du Québec, Laurin is represented in Montreal by the Clarence Gagnon Gallery.
