Peace, space, awesome beauty, and whimsical detail vibrate through Lyon's watercolors, ink drawings or mixed media creations of inner visions of the universe reflecting her world travels.

Lyon exhibits locally in New Mexico and has shown in Florence, Italy; Guam; France; and the United States where her work hangs in private collections.

Living in the Southwestern United States, Lyon paints, teaches, presents "No Limits for Artists" seminars, is a charter member of the New Mexico Women's Caucus for Art and Sierra County Arts Council, and is developing a working arts gallery.
