Sally Matthews was born in Tamworth, Midlands, England. She received her First Class B.A. in Fine Art / Sculpture from Loughborough College of Art and Design. Her work has been commissioned by Bilston, Wolverhampton Borough Council, 1996 '97; Prudential Corp., 1992 '93; Gateshead Riverside, 1992; National Garden Festival, Gateshead, 1990; and Sustrans, Consett-Sunderland Cycle Track, 1989 '90.
