Ellen Murray Meissinger's work addresses issues of color and dynamic forms where past and present memories and formal concerns of color, light, time, and space co-exist on an ancient playing field.

Ellen Murray: The Collection Series, a major traveling exhibition of watercolors, toured the United States under sponsorship of Exhibits U.S.A., a division of the Mid-America Arts Alliance.

Meissinger is a Professor in the School of Art, Arizona State University; Past President of Watercolor USA Honor Society; a member of the WHS Board of Directors; and is represented by the M.A. Doran Gallery.
