Ashley Miller is a native Arizonan now living and working in Montréal, Québec, Canada, as an artist and teacher at Concordia University and Champlain College.
Her work, primarily sculpture, sometimes takes the form of large installations and sometimes small object assemblage using found and recycled materials such as old shoes or tire scraps juxtaposed with raw or natural materials such as moss, cotton, leaves, and seeds.
Miller constructs hybrid forms that comment on interactions between human, temporal constrictions and the timeless forces of nature.
