Mosly was born in Mecca, Saudi Arabia. She graduated from the College of Fine Arts in Cairo, Egypt in 1972, and earned a degree in Graphic Arts in California in 1978. Mosly is a painter, teacher, and graphic designer. Also an art critic, she contributes regularly to Saudi newspapers. Her work is in several corporate and museum collections, including the Museum of Modern Art in Madrid, Spain.
