Mylona represented Greece at the Venice Biennale in 1960 and had a retrospective exhibition of sculpture at the Athens National Gallery in 1986. She exhibited white marble sculpture in the Denise René's Gallery in Paris.

She is inspired by the Doric tradition and translates it into vigorous and contemporary shapes. She states, "My instinct speaks first, but is always controlled by my mind."
