Nelson works in mixed media and on Japanese Gampi paper, which she uses to make one-of-a-kind books, small sculpture, and large installations.

She is an instructor at the University of Wisconsin, Madison and would like to make contact with artists who use found objects, make books, and/or recognize art as a healing energy for themselves or their community.
