Odenstrand's work relates to the silencing of the woman in society and the power and ability to keep track of one's own experience and knowledge.
Through her recent photography and video works, Odenstrand presents concepts of femininity, time, and space in relation to technological advancements. She evokes the classical "infantile" femme fatale and receives inspiration from the technological experimental activities of the avant-garde.
She has been involved in several gallery and arts projects in Stockholm, Sweden for the past few years as a co-founder and organizer of 10 00 22, Political art, today?, a project committed to the exploration of relations between art and politics and the possibilities or impossibilities of political action with art.
