Her professional awards and affiliations include: Artiste En France Award (French Government), 1993 and the Oakland Federal Building commission, 1991. O'Neal is represented by the Kenkeleba Gallery, New York; the Porter Troupe Gallery, San Diego; and the Allitash Kebede Gallery, Los Angeles. She is a Professor of Art at the University of California at Berkeley.
