Oraa was born in the Basque Country, Spain. She received her MFA from the Basque Country University, Bilbao, Spain. Her work is in public and corporate collections, including: the National Museum of Calcographie, Madrid; the Basque Country Government; and Cantabria's Government, Spain. She has been the recipient of numerous awards and honors, including the Osakidetza Runner-up from the Basque Country Government in 1991. Oraa states, "My life and my artwork are in such harmony that it is impossible to separate one from the other. Sometimes I know about my life through my paintings, and vise-versa."
