Popovici is a painter of Romanian origin. She studied at the School of Fine Arts, Bucharest, and is currently pursuing doctoral studies in Art History at the Sorbonne, Paris.

Her drawings and gouache on paper compositions contrast past and present, intricate and unadorned creations of nature and man.

She has resided in France since 1990 and exhibited in the Salon des Artistes Francais, Salon d'Automne, and the Salon Violet Contemporains in Paris. She has received a number of awards and medals.
