Sandra Porter received her BA in Fine Art from Stourbridge College of Art and her MA in Painting from Chelsea School of Art. Curves are important in her work because they lead and direct the eye. Her work is informed by artists as diverse as Sol Lewit, Morandi, Giotto, and Duccio. Color and form are the predominant interests when making a painting. Public and private collections include: Lionel Phillips, Arther Anderson, Tate Gallery Library, Victoria and Albert Museum Library, and Hammersmith Council.
