About her work, Praxmayer states, "My creations show a vision of a new world; one less banal than in everyday life. It's a kind of mixture of real and unreal, past and present, using humans and animals, myths and realities. The normal is almost unknown. My paintings are in general figurative, but the 'vision' is abstract; I am interested in the relationship between realities and the absurd. I push the borders of every day life a little bit more 'beyond', and show the 'new point of view' and a new reflection on the human existance."
