Ricketts received her MA in Media Communications (photography) from Governors State University, University Park, Illinois and her MFA from The School of the Art Institute of Chicago. She is full-time instructor at the University of Chicago Laboratory Schools, Director of Workshops for The Paper Source, and Program Chair of the Chicago Hand Bookbinders. She creates photographically derived work, most recently limited edition artists' books.
