Simeonova was born in Sofia, Bulgaria. She graduated from the Academy of Fine Arts in Sofia. She has attended symposia focusing on terracotta, stone, bronze, sculpture, and ceramics in Lettland, Bulgaria, Germany, Hungary, and South Africa. Some of her works are property of: the National Gallery; the Sofia City Art Gallery; the Art Galleries in Plovdiv, Varna, and Dobritch; the Bulgarian Ministry of Culture; Art Gallery "A.S. Poushkin" (Moskow, Russia); the Union of the Polish Sculptors; and private collections in Bulgaria, the United States, Germany, Switzerland, Czech Republic, Greece, and South Africa.
