Simon uses painting and collage to explore the scientific issues of such topics as women's health issues, AIDS, and environmental concerns. She employs actual research drawings and equations in her work so that she can look at objects and events from a different and distinctly 20th Century viewpoint.
She currently lives in Denver, Colorado and is a member in the alternative gallery, CORE New Artspace Gallery; Spark Gallery; The Alternative Arts Alliance; and The Provincetown Art Association. She is President of the Women's Caucus for Art, Colorado Chapter.
