Sinh is a native of France who moved to California in 1989. In Paris, she studied Design at Ecole des Arts Appliqués Duperr&eaute;; Sculpture and Painting at Ecole des Beaux-Arts; Art Theory at University, Paris I Sorbonne; and Art History at Ecole du Louvre. In California, she studied Printmaking and Painting at the University of California at Davis; Printmaking at the Kala Institute; and Painting and Drawing at California State University at Sacramento.
