Skinner is a graphic artist specializing in drawing, printmaking, and the book arts, as well as computer art. She combines her experience as a computer artist with traditional mediums to produce complex mixed media images on paper.
Skinner received her BFA from Indiana University at Fort Wayne, Indiana and her MFA from Bowling Green State University, Ohio. She is currently Assistant Professor of Visual Arts at Bemidji State University, Minnesota.
