Carol Sky paints and photographs clouds and storms, the water and air we need for life, that sweep around our planet beyond our control, protecting, nourishing, and devastating us while uniting us and bearing messages for us.
Sky received her BFA from the University of Houston, Texas and her MA and MFA from the University of Iowa. She also studied at the Corcoran School of Art, Washington, DC and the Slade School of Art, University of London, England. She has been an Academic Dean, Gallery Director, Professor of Art, journalist / photographer, and is now a full time artist and activist for artist rights.
Sky has exhibited internationally, in 17 solo and over 100 juried exhibitions. Her work is owned by The National Museum of Women in the Arts, Washington, DC; the Universities of Iowa and St. Thomas; and businesses worldwide. She is listed in Who's Who in American Art.
