Sween works in painting, sculpture, collage, and assemblage; continuing to search for that psychic connection with her viewers. She states, "Art is often the most effective form of communication at the deepest and most satisfying levels-- from the outrageous to the sublime. It can mesmerize, exalt the imagination, tickle the heart and create a new awareness of what it is to be a human being in an ever-changing world."

She has had four solo museum exhibitions and has been included in over 95 group, museum and gallery exhibitions in the United States, Europe, and South America.
