Templeton is inspired by Literature and Hermeneutic interpretations of Jung and Joseph Campbell. She belongs to the Fellowship of The Christ and the Buddha. She worked as a full-time teacher for 20 years. Previous to that she worked as a nurse and worker for the welfare of alcoholics under the auspices of the Richmond Fellowship.
Her paintings and drawings have been exhibited at a variety of venues since 1972 including: Hockerill College, Bishops Stortford; Sheffield Art College; Leeds Gallery Playhouse; Steiner College, Sheffield; Mansfield Arts Centre; and St. Botolfs Gallery, London where she was awarded a prize for her mandala, Little Prince.
