Tiscornia was born in Montevideo, Uruguay. About her art she states, "My work develops within an area that is difficult to define with precision: a conceptual space between an objective or tangible reality and a subjective reality comprised of many subjectivities." In addition to being an artist, Tiscornia is a writer for different art and cultural magazines such as Brecha and Cotidiano Mujer from Uruguay and Atlantica International from Spain.
