Villagra has studied Painting, Art Criticism, Art History, and Art Education at the National School of Fine Arts in Lima, Mural Painting at Boitsfort Fine Arts Academy in Belgium, Painting and Etching at Anderlecht Fine Arts Academy in Belgium, Lithography at the Foundation for Graphic Arts, Masserel Center in Lima, and Economics at University Particular Ricardo Palma in Lima.
She has taught painting at the Children's workshop at Art Center Miraflores, Lima and was a teacher in the painting workshop for immigrants: ASBL "The Cactus", Anderlecht. In 1996, Villagra was the Artistic Director of the Annessens Underground Station's Fresco done with young people. She has created theatrical scenery for plays produced by South-American political refugee women, and painted murals in such divers venues as schools, corporate offices, and public buildings throughout Peru.
