Melanie Walker received her BA from San Francisco State University, California and her MFA from Florida State University, Tallahassee. She has been Assistant Professor at: the University of Colorado, Bolder; the University of Kentucky, Lexington; New York College of Ceramics at Alfred University; and the State University of New York, Albany. Walker has also been Visiting Artist at: San Francisco State University; Otis / Parsons College of Art, Los Angeles; ASUC Studio, the University of California, Berkeley; and Pensacola Junior College, Florida.
