Pat Walsh received her BFA in Sculpture from Mount Allison University, Sackville, New Brunswick, Canada and her MFA in Multimedia and Photography from Concordia University, Montreal, Canada. She is a founding member of Canada's first and longest continuously running women's co-operative gallery, Powerhouse Gallery / La Centrale, Montreal, and continues to be an active member, on the Board of Directors, and on the Jury Committee. She also has been teaching painting for 25 years. Contact with nature is very important to Walsh; her work expressing a metaphysical connection with the universe.
