Watson received her Fine Arts Diploma from Okanagan College, Kelowna, British Columbia, Canada and her BFA Degree from the University of British Columbia, Vancouver. She is affiliated with Galerie Articule, an artist-run center in Montréal, Canada. Watson's artistic practice includes painting, drawing, bookmaking, and sculpture, whose content generally concerns humans' connection to nature and/or feminist principles. Due to their association with the human soul (since ancient times), birds often appear in her work.
Watson had a solo exhibition, Myths and Secrets at Collin County Community College Gallery, Plano, Texas in 1992. Her work is in the collections of: The Canada Council Art Bank, Ottawa; La Bibliothèque Nationale du Québec, Montréal; and Le Musée du Québec, Montréal.
