WIEM lives in France. She graduated from the University of Paris II. Conceptually, her work is the continuation of her thought about humans and the world, their origin and evolution from the starting "point" to the life "line." The actual work is based on her ideas about the elements of fire and water. Although they are at first opposed, they are nevertheless tied in the beginning and maintenance of life. So, WIEM's work plays with the analogies (drops - flames) reminding us of the fragility of the balance created by the original oppositions.
Her selected exhibitions include: Agora Gallery, 1999; Salon d'automne, Paris, 1999; Fort Mason (AWA), San Francisco, 1998; Salon d'Automne, Paris, 1996; Museum of Art, Aurillac, 1996; Herouet Gallery, Paris, 1996; and Marouska Gallery, Lyon, 1994.
Awards for her work include: Gold Medal, Toulouse, Sculpture, 1998; "Arts Sciences Lettres" medalholder, 1997; Gold Medal, Aix-en-Provence, Sculpture, 1996; and Gold Medal, Aix-en-Provence, Painting 1995.
