Yahooda lives and works in London, England. Her medium is mainly photographic, occassionally multimedia and installation art. In her photoworks she portrays a longstanding concern with aspects of individual and cultural history through the re-presentation of objects and interior spaces.
Her selected commissions include Bookworks in 1991. She won the Anglo-Israeli Photo Award in 1994. Her work is in the public collections of the Victoria and Albert Museum, the British Council, and the New York Public Library. Yahooda's work has been published in Creative Camera 1985, '86, '95, and '96 and in European Photography 1990.
